Free Government funded sessions

Free early learning gives children the best start in life. Through learning and playing with other children in a safe and structured environment, they’ll have a head start when they begin school.

Three year old grant

All three and four year olds are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery education for 38 weeks of the year. (the term after their 3rd birthday). This applies until they reach compulsory school age (the term following their fifth birthday) some parents may also be entitles to 30 hours grant. call in for details.

Two year old grant

Although not available for all 2 year olds, some families are eligible. Below is information from the department of education website for you to check the criteria.

You may be eligible if you receive one or more of the following:

  • Income Support
  • Income-based Jobseekers Allowance
  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • the guaranteed element of State Pension Credit
  • Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
  • Working Tax Credit and earn no more than £16,190 from work*
  • Working Tax Credit run-on – paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
  • Universal Credit
